Engagement sessions are one of my favorite things to shoot. It gives me an opportunity to get my brides and grooms in front of my camera and get to know them a little better. It also gives them an opportunity to get to know me and what to expect come wedding day when it comes to posing. I love it when that confidence comes out in them when I ask them to go into a pose that we did at the engagement session and see their faces light up when they know exactly what to do!
Engagement sessions are also difficult when it comes to scheduling. Because we like to shoot at the golden hour (around 1-2 hours before sunset) for the best lighting, if the weather starts looking bad we have to start the reschedule conversations. That was the case for Jessica and Jeremy. With the threat of rain, we weren’t sure what to do, but thankfully Jessica said we will keep our date and if it rains head inside. And man were we lucky! The weather was PERFECT!
We met in downtown Greenville at the Hyatt and headed outside to shoot in front of the Hyatt and the restaurant Roost. The light was killer and Jessica and Jeremy rocked their session like they were models! Enjoy these amazing shots from their beautiful engagement session.
