Jim and Tricia’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect for two amazing people.  Filled with warm sun, laughs, a few tears, but most of all a love of friends and family that couldn’t be matched, we walked away with not only beautiful images, but two friends that mean the world to us!

Jim and Tricia met several years ago while Tricia was a student and Jim an employee at Brown Mackie College when, while in the bookstore, Tricia found out that a dear friend was very ill.  Knowing nothing of her other than a customer in the store who was very upset, Jim ran to her and comforted her through.  Tricia knew then that there was something special about him.  They formed a great friend ship that after graduation blossomed into a special romance that, while on a cruise to the Bahamas, Jim pulled the ultimate surprise and proposed!

As I said, Jim and Tricia were surrounded by an amazing group of friends and family on their wedding day.  A day they didn’t think would come as soon as it did.  Jim’s dad and best man had a stroke in August of 2013 leaving him very sick and with an unsure future.  The big day just wouldn’t have been complete without his dad so the date was pushed up leaving Jim and Tricia 4 short months to plan.  Knowing just how special this couple is, those friends and family did everything they could to pitch in and make their day a dream come true.

I don’t think I could sum up this couple better than a message that we got from Tricia herself,  “The only other thing that I have is that we LOVE you guys and feel so blessed to have crossed paths with you. One of our favorite sayings is that everything happens for a reason! Well, we know that we found you guys for a reason. Thank you for making our day so special!”
